Echo Gravity - Demo
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
English
Free demo of Echo Gravity. It includes the whole of chapter 1 (12 rooms and its secret room) and the first two rooms of chapter 2: the best way to find out if the game is for you. The full game has 60 rooms and 5 secret rooms.
Gravity remembers. In Echo Gravity you don't control a character: you control the gravity of a cubic room floating in the void. Change its direction and every object slides until it hits something. But the old gravity doesn't vanish at once: it leaves an echo that keeps pulling some cubes in the old direction.
A grey cube obeys today's gravity. A purple cube obeys yesterday's. Think in several layers of time so that several objects move in different directions at once.
In the demo
- Gravity, sliding, grey and purple cubes: 12 flat puzzle rooms, then the jump to 3D.
- Preview: hold a direction to see where everything will slide before you commit. Unlimited undo: a mistake never costs you progress.
- Distinct shapes and colors for every object type, 8 camera angles, adjustable animations.
- Music and sound are fully synthesized. English and French.
Controls
Keyboard + mouse: arrows or WASD for gravity, Q / E for back / forward in 3D, Space to wait, Backspace to undo, R to restart, right-click or Tab to rotate the camera. All keys can be rebound. Gamepad: experimental support.
Installation
- Windows: unzip (keep the
.exeand the.pcktogether) and run the executable. If Windows shows a SmartScreen warning (the game is unsigned), click "More info" then "Run anyway". - macOS: unzip, then right-click the app → "Open" (the game is unsigned). If macOS blocks it:
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "Echo Gravity.app"in Terminal. - Linux: unzip,
chmod +xthe file, then run it.
Requirements: 64-bit CPU, Vulkan-capable GPU (Direct3D 12 on Windows, Metal on macOS), 500 MB of disk space. No internet connection needed. No ads, no data collection: your progress stays on your computer.
